Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall Foliage!
With Labor Day now behind summer has sadly come to its unofficial end. But don’t worry because this weekend kicks off the best season in the Catskills – the Fall. That means that nearly every weekend is full of events from harvest festivals to fall foliage events, not to mention jamborees and beer festivals. This weekend Jeffersonville is the place to be with multiple events happening all weekend. The leaves just starting to turn and the weather is projected to be beautiful, so pack up the car and head up this weekend to have a little old-school fun in the country. There will be both Tractor and Dog Parades!!
Jeff Jamboree’s Tractor Parade, Duck Race, Pie Contest and More!
Jeff Jamboree kicks off this Saturday, September 9th 2017 at 10:00 AM and runs until 4:00 in the afternoon. The Jamboree is filled with food, music, and fun including their ever popular tractor parade and duck race, a dog parade (!), a pancake breakfast, vendors (food, craft, service, etc.), a pie contest and auction, and a tricky tray.
New activities launching this year include laser tag in the Backyard Park and a pie-in-the-face auction. Mystic Entertainment will provide music. All events will be held on or just off Main Street in Jeffersonville, NY. For more information you can call (845) 701-1020 or go to our events pages of specific activities for the day.
Pancake Breakfast – 7 AM – 11 AM at the Presbyterian Church
Vendors – 10 AM – 4 PM all along Main Street
Laser Tag – 10 AM – 3 PM in the Backyard Park
Pie Contest & Auction – 11AM – 12 PM at the Jeffersonville Firehouse
Pie-in-the-Face Auction – following the pie contest at the Jeffersonville Firehouse
Tricky Tray – 11:30 AM – Doors open
3 PM – Calling for prizes
Dog Parade- 12 PM – Line up at Justus Automotive
Tractor Parade – 12:30 PM on Main Street led by dog parade
Duck Race – 2:30 PM – Callicoon Creek near footbridge (remaining tickets are available before the race)
Music will be provided by Mystic Entertainment.
Maybe bring a change of clothes in case the Duck Race gets too intense.
