It seems like summer is never going to end, but Fall is officially here. Because temperature is still warm and the leaves are just starting to show their first signs of glorious fall color, it is an unbelievably beautiful time of year to visit the Catskills! This weekend’s Catskill activities are centered in Roscoe, NY. Also known as Trout Town USA, Roscoe is considered the “ultimate fishing town” with five of America’s top trout streams. Furthermore, they have a Spirit, Brew and Wine Trail that runs right through Roscoe, with the Prohibition Distillery and the Roscoe Beer Company. Saturday’s activities include an Oktoberfest celebration plus a Community Yard Sale where hidden treasures await you!

Get Your Fun on at Oktoberfest
What can you expect to find at Oktoberfest? In addition to the obvious ton of varieties of beer (including something that has to be tried called “Troutoberfest”) and traditional German food, there are a ton of other can’t-miss fall activities. Bring the whole family and enjoy a hay maze, pumpkin carving, a costume contest, live wood carvings, carriage hay rides, hot cider, donuts, and live music! This Saturday will literally be a day packed with fun for everyone!

Feed Your Inner Antiquer at the Trout Town Community Yard Sale
If you like “antiquing” I am going to let you in on a little secret. Community-wide yard sales are the BEST. Because everyone brings out all of their best stuff on the same day, so you hit multiple tables within a very short distance and timeframe. This Community Yard Sale is benefiting the Roscoe Free Library so it’s also for a very good cause.
