Buzz on Over to Narrowsburg for Honeybee Fest!
If there is one thing you do this weekend it has got to be going to the Honeybee Fest in Narrowsburg. Narrowsburg is a lovely little down nestled right next to the Delaware River and is deserving of a visit on its own accord, but this weekend’s Honeybee Fest makes it a must-see. Why would you be interested in a Honeybee Fest, you might be asking yourself? First of all, you are encouraged to dress like a bee and (seriously) everyone does it. And how often do you get to do that? Second, it is teeming with activities – from a parade and costume contest to a fun run to to honey spirit tastings and a butterfly release and much, much more.
There are plenty of activities here for kids and adults alike. Not only will you have a great time but you’ll also learn a bit about the vital importance of honeybees to our environment and get to enjoy some of the fruits of their labor! Best of all nearly everything is free! Lastly, while you’re there, be sure to check out the wonderful restaurants and shops on Main Street and the surrounding area.
